Rit Dye Powdered Fabric Dye, Lemon Yellow - 1.125 ounces

The Rit Dye powder package comes in multiple vibrant colors that can be used to revamp your clothing, accessories, mixed media, craft projects, clothes pins, and home furnishing items. From hues of dark wine, to bright lemon yellow, Rit Dye will add a lively touch to your summer dress, scarves, t-shirts and more. 
There are three techniques that can be used when dying fabric: stove top dyeing technique has the best color results when dyeing with Rit Black Dye or other dark colors; the sink or bucket technique is best when dyeing small or delicate items; lastly, the washing machine technique is best for maximum convenience and large items. Rit Dye powder must always be mixed with two cups of very hot water before adding to the dye bath, this way the powder can dissolve properly. All dyeing techniques and directions are printed inside of the box. With 21 shades to choose from your dyeing creativity is endless.  Rit Dye is best on 100% cotton, linen, silk, wool, ramie and fiber blends with at least 60% cotton or other dyeable fiber.
Not recommended for 100% polyester, 100% acrylic or fabrics with special finishes, rubber backing, washable only in cold water or labeled Dry Clean Only.
Use RIT color remover to remove original fabric color before dyeing to a lighter or completely different color.
One package dyes 1 lb dry weight about 3 yards medium weight fabric to a light or medium color. (Example: pants/jeans or blouse/ T shirt or 1 pair curtains). Use Rit fabric treatments for your special fabric care needs.
